Defensive Back Demarkus Perkins with Florida International University

Cedar Rapids, IA - Florida International University alum Demarkus Perkins has signed with the Cedar Rapids Titans, the team announced earlier this afternoon. Perkins (6'0", 210 lbs.) will join the Titans for his rookie Indoor Football League campaign.
In three seasons for the Panthers, Perkins tallied 108 stats (80 solo, 28 assisted) and six and a half tackles for loss. Perkins also notched eight pass break ups and a pair of interceptions.
After his collegiate career, Perkins was signed by the New York Jets as an undrafted free agent.
"I want to thank the Cedar Rapids organization for this opportunity," Perkins reflected. "I am looking forward to getting back on the field and helping the Titans win football games. I know this is a great organization and I can't wait to be a part of it.'
