TODAY'S GAME: Games one and two of a four-game series against the St. Lucie Mets at Osceola County Stadium....Game one of a seven-game homestand against St. Lucie and the Clearwater Threshers...Florida has won both series against the Mets in 2018, including taking two of three in Kissimmee from April 17-19...The Fire Frogs are 7-13 against the Mets in their history, including 4-6 at home...First doubleheader of 2018 for Florida.

TODAY'S STARTING PITCHERS: 20-year-old Kyle Muller makes his second start at the High-A level in the opener of the four-game against the St. Lucie Mets on Tuesday morning...The southpaw made six starts with the Rome Braves, going 3-0 with a 2.40 ERA across 30 innings of work (8er)...The Dallas native did not factor into the decision of his first start as a Fire Frog on May 8 against St. Lucie...The southpaw allowed four runs on seven hits, five walks and four strikeouts in four innings at First Data Field...Monday will be Muller's second career start against the Mets.

22-year-old Jeremy Walker makes his eighth start of 2018 in the game two of the doubleheader on Tuesday...The right-handed product from Gardner-Webb finished his 2017 season on a four-game winning streak for the Rome Braves (A-), going 3-0 with a 1.23era (4er/29.1ip) in the month of August with two complete games, and posting 19 strikeouts compared to just three walks...The 6'5" hurler shut out the St. Lucie Mets on three hits, two walks and five strikeouts in a no-decision at First Data Field on May 9...Tuesday will be Walker's third career start against the Mets, with all three coming this season. The 2016 fifth-round pick blanked St. Lucie across 10.2 innings on seven hits, three free passes and six punchouts, but has not factored into either of the previous two decisions.

FIRE FROGS DROP CLOSE ONE TO TARPONS IN RUBBER MATCH: The Florida Fire Frogs clubbed two solo home runs, but fell to the Tampa Tarpons, 4-2, on Saturday night at George M. Steinbrenner field to wrap up the three-game series. The loss hands the Fire Frogs their seventh series loss in 11 chances in 2018, and finishes the six-game road trip with a 3-3 mark.

Ian Anderson retired the first five men he faced before running into a two-out rally in the second inning. Diego Castillo singled on a two-strike pitch, and came around to score on Tim Lynch's RBI double to the wall in right to put Florida behind 1-0. Angel Aguilar followed with an RBI knock to left to put the Fire Frogs behind by two runs.

The Fire Frogs tied a season-low with only two hits, with both going for solo homers from Braxton Davidson and Taylor Murphy.

PACE OF PLAY: Saturday night's series finale flew by for both teams, as the nine-inning contest took just 2 hours and 1 minute to complete...The matchup tied the shortest nine-inning game in Fire Frogs history, matching April 17, 2017's game against the Fort Myers Miracle.

PACIFIC PACE: Taylor Murphy welcomed Adonis Rosa to Saturday's game with a solo home run to right to tie the game at two in the seventh...The product of the University of the Pacific is now on a six-game hitting streak, in which he is batting .333 (7-for-21) since May 6...The outfielder has had at least on hit in all six games as a Fire Frog, and has had a hit in seven of his nine games played in 2018.

PITCHING BLUES: Ian Anderson finished the night with seven strikeouts in his five innings of work during the no-decision, but issued a season-high, four walks, while giving up four hits...Florida's starting pitching walked 14 batters in 11.2 innings during the three game series.

ROSTER MOVES: Jared James has been activated from the disabled list to start the homestand...The 24-year-old outfielder led the team with a .318 average through 18 games before being placed on the DL on April 26...To make room for James, outfielder Shean Michel was sent to Extended Spring Training.
