GREENVILLE, S.C., February 7 – The Florida Flame has acquired center Sean Finn from the NBA’s National Basketball Development League available player pool, according to an announcement by NBDL director of basketball operations Chris Alpert and Flame head coach Dennis Johnson. Florida also waived forward Kendall Dartez while he rehabilitates a wrist injury.

Finn, 6-11, 240, from Dayton (Â’04), will be suiting up for his third NBDL team this season. He was drafted by Fayetteville (7th round, 39th overall) and played the first 10 games of the season for the Patriots before being traded to Roanoke for guard Mike King on December 13. The Dazzle waived him on January 31 when James Thomas returned from two 10-day stints with the Portland Trail Blazers.

Overall this season, Finn has played in 24 games (two starts), averaging 17.9 minutes, 3.3 points and 3.7 rebounds. Dartez played in 26 games (eight starts) for the Flame, averaging 22.2 minutes, 6.5 points and 3.8 rebounds.

Finn is expected to be in uniform when the Flame plays at Asheville tonight. He will wear jersey #4.
