January 18, 2016 - North American Hockey League (NAHL)
Coulee Region Chill News Release
Forwards Dominik Florian and Isaac Theisen were named honorable mentions for their work on the ice this past weekend.
Florian, native of Vlasim, Czech Republic, was quiet in Friday nights contest against the Janesville Jets but was clutch Saturday night. After failing to record any points the night before, Florian recorded both an assist and goal that proved to be the game winner in overtime to bring the weekend series to 1-1. Florian now has 10 goals and nine assists in a season that started off slow due to injury. He need 14 points to tie his point total from last year which ended at 33.
Theisen, native of Monroe, MI, had similar statistics as Florian as he also contributed a goal and an assist this past weekend. Theisens lone assist came in the 1-4 loss on Friday night at Janesville and his goal came at the start of the 2nd period to get the Chill on the board in a game that'd eventually end in a 4-3 victory in overtime. He, too, has 10 goals on the season to go along with 14 helpers as well, both of which are career bests in a season for the 2nd year player.
