Flight to Offer Second Session Youth Camp

HUNTSVILLE, Ala., June 13, 2003 – Due to heavy demand for the Huntsville Flight Youth Basketball Camp, another session has been added June 23-26 at the Optimist Recreation Center (703 Oakwood Ave.) from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
The morning camp, which is slated to run from 9 a.m. to 12 noon those same days, has been filled to capacity.
"The response to the morning camp has been tremendous," Flight president Kurt Luttermoser said. "We are excited that we are able to provide another session of quality basketball instruction from our coaching staff as well as other outstanding coaches from the area."
The Flight coaches headline a solid group of instructors that will allow kids 7-15 the opportunity to focus on fundamentals, sportsmanship, teamwork, discipline and work ethic. In addition, each child will be placed in groups according to their age, size and ability.
This session cost is $60 and $55 for those who enroll two or more children from the same family. Each camper will receive a Flight Camp T-shirt, a game ticket to the teamÂ’s 2003-04 home opener and complimentary admission to the Cosmo Kids Club.
