WHAT: Free Flight Jump Ball Clinic
WHEN: Saturday, June 8th, noon â 3 p.m.
WHERE: University Fitness Center (corner of John Wright and Holmes)
WHO: Huntsville Flight coaches and staff
THE SCOOP: Flight Head Coach Bob Thornton and Assistant Coach Ralph Lewis will conduct a youth basketball clinic, sharing an afternoon basketball skills and fun with the youth of the Tennessee Valley.
Former University of Alabama and Huntsville Flight guard Doc Martin will be on hand from 1-2 p.m. to make a special appearance.
TO SIGN UP: Registration for the clinic will take place in the University Fitness Center lobby from 11-11:45 a.m. tomorrow morning. The clinic, which is reserved for the first 75 kids to register, will begin at noon.
FYI: Coach Thornton is returning today from a week at the Chicago Pre-Draft Camp. He will be available to talk with the media regarding the Chicago Camp, the upcoming NBA Draft, the NBA Finals, or the 2002-03 Flight season.
