
Flight picks up Isaac Fontaine

GREENVILLE, S.C., February 21 â The Huntsville Flight has acquired National Basketball Development League veteran Isaac Fontaine from the available player pool and waived forward Bryan Bracey, league director of basketball operations Chris Alpert and Flight coach Ralph Lewis announced today.
Fontaine, a 6-3, 210, shooting guard from Washington State ('97) helped lead the Mobile Revelers to the NBDL Championship last season and to the Playoffs in the league's inaugural season. He has played in 100 NBDL regular season games (90 starts), averaging 27.5 minutes, 14.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.1 assists. In eight playoff games he averaged 29.7 minutes, 15.5 points, 3.8 rebounds and 2.1 assists.
Fontaine led the NBDL in three-point field goal percentage last season, converting 61 of 138 (.442) and was fifth in the league in free throw percentage at .841 (116-138). He led the NBDL in scoring with 17.4 ppg and free throw percentage (.905, 229-253) during the 2001-02 season on the way to an All-NBDL first team selection.
Fontaine is expected to be in uniform Sunday when the Flight visits Fayetteville.
