Flash Win Second Straight

December 16, 2012 - Professional Arena Soccer League (PASL) - Rio Grande Valley Flash News Release

HIDALGO, Texas- the Rio Grande Valley Flash won their second straight game by defeating the Rockford Rampage by a score of 7-1, Sunday evening at State Farm Arena.

Juan Jalomo scored twice to the lead the scoring for the Flash.

His goals came in the first and fourth period of the game, taking his overall tally to five in the season.

The Flash took a 2-0 at halftime, with the second goal coming from Jorge Quiroz.

The Rampage scored in the last period on a power play goal from Semir Mesanovic and assisted by Adan Ejupovic. The Rampage went 1-for-4 on the man advantage.

The Flash went 1-for-3 on the power play with Quiroz scoring the goal, which was the second of the game.

The Flash will start a four game road trip to end and start the New Year with their first opponent being Chicago Mustangs on Friday, December 28 at Grand Sports Arena

The next home game for the Flash will be on Sunday, January 20 when they will host the Dallas Sidekicks at State Farm Arena.
