
Flash Preseason Roster Update

ELMA, N.Y. - The Western New York Flash announced today its updated preseason roster.
Forward Taylor Leach who had been temporarily practicing with the team recently signed a contract with Sunnanå SK. The team currently plays in the Damallsvenskan, which is the highest division of professional women's soccer in Sweden.
Australian defender Alanna Kennedy joined the team in training today after helping Australia qualify for the 2016 Rio Olympics by winning the AFC Women's Olympic Qualifying Tournament. Kennedy scored a goal for the Matildas during the tournament.

The Western New York Flash will open the 2016 NWSL season on Saturday April 16 at reigning champion, FC Kansas City. The WNY Flash will begin its home campaign on Friday, April 29 against the Washington Spirit at Sahlen's Stadium.
