Western New York Flash News Release
Elma, N.Y. (Sunday, April 21, 2013) - The Western New York Flash has announced that it will hold an additional open training session at Sahlen's Stadium on Monday, April 22nd. The team will also be practicing at the stadium on Thursday, April 25th. Both training sessions will begin at 3 p.m. and will last approximately 90 minutes.
The Flash will be prepping for their home opener on April 27th, when they host the Boston Breakers at 7:35 p.m. The game will be a homecoming for Abby Wambach, a graduate of Our Lady of Mercy and one of Rochester's most familiar faces. Wambach has played at Sahlen's Stadium multiple times, but never as a member of the home team.
Tickets are not needed for either practice and the gates will open when the team takes the field. Tickets are still available for purchase for the home opener. Individual game tickets, and season ticket packages, can be purchased online or by calling the Sahlen's Stadium box office at (585) 545-KICK.
