
Flames Trim Camp Roster by Two

Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have assigned defenseman Dustin Stevenson to the Stockton Heat of the American Hockey League. The Flames also announced that goaltender Mason McDonald has been returned to the QMJHL's Charlottetown Islanders.
Stevenson was signed to the Heat on July 15 after playing last season with the Adirondack Flames, his first full AHL campaign. The 6'3", 216 lb. defenseman suited up in 45 games for Adirondack last season, registered 11 points and was third on the team in penalty minutes with 94.
Calgary now has 47 players remaining at training camp (4x goalies, 17x defencemen, 26x forwards).
