Calgary, AB - The Calgary Flames announced today that they have signed Czech forward Daniel Pribyl to a two-year entry level contract.
Pribyl was originally drafted by Montreal in the sixth round (168th overall) of the 2011 NHL Draft. The 23-year-old has spent the last six seasons with Sparta Praha of the Czech Extraliga and he has skated in 174 games and recorded 109 points (47G, 62A), adding 24 points (11G, 13A) in 37 postseason tilts. In 2015-16, the 6'3" forward was a point-per-game player with 45 points (16G, 29A) in 45 regular season games before recording five goals and six assists in nine playoff matches.
