Flags Get Ready for Game Day

(PORT HURON, MICH) - The tradition continues for the Port Huron Flags hockey club, who will compete in its second season in the United Hockey League.

The2 006-07 season kicks off on Friday, Oct.13, with the Flags playing away against the Flint Generals.

The home opener for Port Huron follows on Saturday, Oct. 14, bringing the Generals to McMorran Arena.

Exhibition games have been tentatively scheduled for the preceding week, with a home showcase planned against the rival Generals on Saturday, Oct. 7.

Fans looking for holiday entertainment will have several options this season, with home games scheduled for the night before Thanksgiving, New Year's Eve, Valentine's Day and St. Patrick's Day.

Each UHL team will play a total of 76 games, with half on the road and half at home.

Season tickets, including half-season and flex packs are available at the Flags office, located at 333 Huron Ave.
