Five 'Runners Named to Top Prospects

The NAHL is holding its annualTop Prospects Tournament, presented by Combat Hockey, which will be held from February 20-22 at the Troy Sports Center in Troy, Michigan. The Topeka RoadRunners will have five players participating, and Head Coach Scott Langer will serve as Assistant Coach for Team South.At the event, six teams - Central, Midwest, North, South, West and the NAHL 18U Selects - will each play three games. Each team consists of a 20-man roster as chosen by the NAHL Top Prospects Tournament Selection Committee as nominated by the league's 28 head coaches, with minor player crossover amongst the six teams.

The RoadRunner players selected arePeter Traber, Dan Dupell, Jake Lynes, Trace Strahle, and Ben Bahe. Bahe will skate for the NAHL U18 Selects, while the other four will represent the South Division.

All NAHL players are eligible to participate in the Top Prospects Tournament, regardless if they've committed to an NCAA school. Each of the teams will consist of 12 forwards, 6 defensemen and 2 goaltenders. The number of players represented by each NAHL team, as well as the coaches selected, was based on each team's winning percentage within their division as of January 16th.
