Right-handed pitcher and 2014 Atlantic League All-Star T.J. Hose, 28, will return to the Riversharks for a second season. In 50 games with the team last season, Hose went 4-8 while posting 47 strikeouts and a 2.04 ERA, the lowest of his career, as well as pitching a scoreless inning in the All-Star Game in Sugar Land. Hose was drafted by the Arizona Diamondbacks in the 36th round of the 2008 amateur draft out of East Carolina University. He has also spent time with the Boston Red Sox organization and the Adelaide Bite of the Australian Baseball League. He brings seven years of experience to the team this year along with a career 3.64 ERA and 323 strikeouts.

The Riversharks have also signed left-handed pitcher Bill Murphy, 31, to return for a second season. Murphy appeared in two games in August 2014 for the team, going 1-0 and allowing no runs while recording three strikeouts. He was drafted in the 3rd round of the 2002 draft by the Oakland Athletics out of California State University Northridge. He played with both the Arizona Diamondbacks and the Toronto Blue Jays and recorded a 4.08 ERA over 17.2 innings pitched at the Major League level. Prior to joining the Riversharks last year, he spent time with both the Chiba Lotte Marines of the Japan Pacific League and the Long Island Ducks.

Veteran infielder Brandon Chaves, 35, returns to the Atlantic League for a fifth season and to the Riversharks for a second season.
