
Five More Added to the Stealth Roster

Wichita, Kan. - The Wichita Stealth announced today that they have been assigned five players by the league office of arenafootball2. They have been assigned Defensive Specialist Andre Brown (5-9, 186, Minnesota), Offensive/Defensive Lineman Tim Conley (6-6, 292, Sacramento State), Wide Receiver/Linebacker Carlo Heard (6-4, 215, South Carolina State), Offensive/Defensive Lineman Rico Ochoa (6-3, 320, Nebraska-Kearney), and Offensive/Defensive Lineman Ronald Pou (6-1, 285, East Carolina).
Andre Brown â Second season in professional football. Brown was a part of the training camp roster for the Tulsa Talons in 2003. Played college football at the University of Minnesota for former University of Kansas football coach Glen Mason. Also attended Fort Scott (Kan.) Community College and was named All-Jayhawk Conference, as well as the best cover corner in the conference (1998). "Quality defensive back who will get the opportunity to play and he adds some depth to the Stealth secondary," said Stealth head coach Sean Ponder.
Tim Conley â Attended Sacramento State and graduated in 1999 with a degree in public relations. Conley was named two-time All Big Sky conference selection and played in the 2000 Hula Bowl All-Star game. After college, Conley participated in the Seattle Seahawks training camp. In 2001, he played in the XFL with Las Vegas and Birmingham. In 2002, he was with the Calgary Stampede of the Canadian Football League (CFL). Also attended the University of Oklahoma (1997-98) and Santa Monica College (1995-96) before transferring to Sacramento State. "Big, athletic lineman who brings some NFL and XFL experience to our team," said Ponder.
Carlo Heard â This will be Heard's first season in professional football. He played college football at South Carolina State University after transferring from Itawamba (Miss.) Community College. Only played one season at South Carolina State appearing in eight games, hauling in eight receptions for 142 yards and two touchdowns. Heard had the game-winning touchdown in a 15-14 come from behind win over North Carolina A&T. "Very good athlete, big receiver with speed," said Ponder.
Rico Ochoa â Second season in professional football. Played in 2003 with the Norfolk Nighthawks. Played in four games compiling two tackles (one unassisted) and one tackle for-loss. Graduated from the University of Nebraska-Kearney. "Quality af2 center and we are very happy to have him here," said Ponder.
Ronald Pou â First season in professional football. Played college football at East Carolina University. Graduated with a degree in communications. Also attended Georgia Military College and received a military award during his time there. "Big strong lineman who is a very physical pass rusher. Was touted as the #1 defensive tackle at the Pro Regional Combine," said Ponder

Fans can secure the same great seats for all eight home games during the 2004 season for as little as $80. The Stealth will kickoff their fourth season in late March 2004 at the Kansas Coliseum.
