NEW YORK, NY - June 8, 2013 - It is fitting that in the Butler BlueSox' fifth season they would have five former players taken in this year's MLB First-Year Player Draft.
Eric Dorsch (21st round, Cincinnati Reds), Kyle Petty (23rd round, Seattle Mariners), George Roberts (26th round, Arizona Diamondbacks), Tyler Sciacca (27th round, Chicago Cubs), and Logan Uxa (32nd round, Cincinnati Reds) all had their named come across the draft tracker on the third day of the Draft.
This was a record setting year for Butler, after the team had three total players drafted in their first four years of existence.
