
Fireflies Suspended in the Bottom of the Third

COLUMBIA, S.C. - The Columbia Fireflies and Myrtle Beach Pelicans suspended their game in the bottom of the third inning with two outs Tuesday night at Segra Park. The score was 0-0 and Henry Ramos was on first base when swift rain began and then the tarp came onto the field.
The game will resume tomorrow at Segra Park at 5:35 pm as part of a doubleheader and gates will open at 5 pm. The second game will start 30 minutes after the conclusion of game one and will be seven innings.
Columbia continues their series with the Myrtle Beach Pelicans with a doubleheader tomorrow night at Segra Park beginning at 5:35 pm. RHP Michael Lombardi (2-3, 3.38 ERA) takes the hill for Columbia and Myrtle Beach counters with RHP Braylon Myers (3-2, 2.45 ERA).
