Florida Firecats News Release

Estero, FL-- The Florida Firecats finalize the 2005 roster for the season starting this week. There were many great players in the training camp, but only the best made the team.

"We had some exceptional players in training camp, but we had to make some cuts," explained Kevin Bouis, Head Coach. "We are looking forward to another challenging season."

The Firecats are bringing Comone Fisher back, which played in Tallahassee in 2002, and played for the Firecats in 2003 and last year when they won the ArenaCup. Anthony Snead will also be playing for the Firecats again this season. Snead played for the Macon Knights in 2003 and won the American Conference. He also played for the Firecats in 2004 and helped contribute to the championship.

The Firecats season starts on April 1, 2005 in Macon, Georgia, versus the Macon Knights. The Firecats return to the Germain Arena for the season opener on April 16. Season tickets are on sale now starting as low as $108.00; contact the Firecats for season tickets at 239.390.CATS (2287).
