Estero, FL- Firecats WR/DB Levy Brown and FB/LB Chris Morant will be speaking to Southwest Florida children at various PAT'S Kids Clubs locations this week.
PAT'S Kids Club, Inc. Is a non profit after school program operating on the campus of 9 area elementary schools. Since 1988 the club has promotes academic, social and physical growth enabling a child to reach his full potential through organized sports and games, arts and crafts, an academic period, special interest activities and enriched activities. PAT's Kids Club also focuses on strong community relationships that emphasize family values, citizenship and goodwill through projects such as food and toy drives, disaster relief as well as their Adopt-a-Beach program.
The (10-3) Firecats return home this week to host the (5-8) Albany Conquest at Germain Arena. With the Firecats 56-51 win over the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Pioneers, Florida clinched a playoff berth for the 5th straight year. With 3 games left to play the 'Cats have a game and a half lead over the Memphis Xplorers in the race for the South Division crown.
Kickoff is scheduled for 7:30pm. Call 390-CATS (2287) to make your reservations. The Firecats are 12-2 at home at home in the regular season the last 2 years combined.
