
FireAnts Wrap Up Season on the Road

The Tupelo FireAnts (2-11) will conclude the 2003 season this Saturday night as they face the defending National Indoor Football League champion Ohio Valley Greyhounds (13-0) at the Wheeling Civic Center in Wheeling, West Virginia.
Tupelo is coming off of its second win of the season, a 43-32 victory over the Oklahoma Crude last Friday night. The FireAnts will be led on offense by quarterback/wide-receiver Darryl Carter, and on defense by Eric Bingham, who leads the team in tackles, with 67.5.
The Ohio Valley Greyhounds offense will be led by quarterback Shane Franzer, who has thrown for over 1,600 yards so far this season, and by defensive lineman Eddie Bynes, who has 35 tackles for a loss and 21 sacks.
