FireAnts to Hold Fundamental Skills Camp for High School Football Players

Tupelo FireAnts Head Coach Bobby Hall has announced a three-day football fundamentals camp to help in the pre-season development of high school players that are gearing up for the 2002-03 season.

The camp will take place next week, Monday, July 28th through Wednesday, July 30th at Robbins Field in Tupelo, located at the corner of Jackson and Church Street. Registration will begin on July 28th starting at 7am, with camp running 8am through 11am and is open to rising eighth grade players through rising seniors.

The camp will feature three-days of conditioning and fundamental teaching, highlighting work with the offensive line, receivers, quarterbacks, running backs, defensive line, secondary, kickers and snappers. Running mechanics will also be stressed, as well.

Instruction will be lead by FireAnts Football Head Coach Bobby Hall. Other members of the camp staff includes Bill Thomas, Will Hall, Russell Copeland, Rob Barnes and William Stewart.

"We feel this is a great time to conduct a fundamentals camp, as it is a week prior to high school camps starting," FireAnts Head Coach Bobby Hall said. "We think this is a great time for high school players to get a jump in preparation for the upcoming season."
