Tupelo FireAnts News Release
The FireAnts will be in full force tomorrow, Saturday-September 20th, during Tupelo's Department of Parks and Recreation Punt, Pass, and Kick contest starting at 11:00am.
Select members of the Tupelo FireAnts, including Head Coach Bobby Hall along with the FireAnts mascot will be in attendance during Tupelo's annual Punt, Pass and Kick contest at the Ballard Park Sportsplex tomorrow afternoon.
Don't miss out on all of the fun! This event is free and open to both boys and girls ages 8 to 15 years old (as of 12/31/03). Soft sole shoes are required. For more information, contact 841-6440.
In other FireAnts happenings, this Sunday, September 21st, the âAnts will conduct their second open tryout camp of the off-season at Robbins Field in Tupelo, located at the corner of Jackson and Church Streets. Registration will take place promptly at 1:00pm, with camp getting underway at 2:00pm. Interested participants must be ages 18 or older, and will need to bring running shoes, cleats, and workout clothing appropriate for the weather. The cost is $50 and includes a Tupelo FireAnts T-Shirt and two tickets to the 2004 home opener at the BancorpSouth Center in Tupelo.
On Monday, September 22, Head Coach Bobby Hall will be the featured speaker at the Tupelo Rotary Club.
The Tupelo Rotary Club meets at the Ramada Inn on North Gloster Street starting at 11:45am.
