Tupelo FireAnts News Release
Tupelo FireAnts Head Coach, Bobby Hall, will be the featured speaker at the Gum Tree Civitan Club, Oxford Lions Club and Tupelo Exchange Club this week.
Today, Monday, August 11th, Coach Hall will visit with the Gum Tree Civitans starting at 11:45pm at Barnhill's Buffet on South Gloster Street in Tupelo.
On Tuesday, August 12th, Hall will travel to Rebel country as he speaks with the Oxford Lions Club at 12 noon. The Oxford Lions meet at Bofields on Jackson Street.
Finally on Friday, August 15th, Coach Hall will be in attendance at the breakfast meeting of the Tupelo Exchange Club held at the Ramada Inn on North Gloster Street starting at 6:45am.
In other news, the FireAnts will hold their first team tryouts for the 2004 season on Saturday, August 16th at Robbins Field in Tupelo, located at the corner of Jackson and Church Streets. Registration begins at 8:00am and interested participants will need to bring cleats, running shoes, and workout clothing appropriate for the weather. The cost is $50, and includes a FireAnts T-Shirt, and two tickets to the 2004 season home opener.
