The Atlanta Dream started Haley Jones, Rhyne Howard, Allisha Gray, Cheyenne Parker-Tyus and Tina Charles for the second straight time this preseason.

Crystal Dangerfield made her debut for the Dream, totaling six points, one rebound and three assists in 15 minutes of play. The Dream acquired the guard via trade from the Dallas Wings on May 4.

The starting lineup produced 46 of the Dream's 80 points, while the bench produced 34.

Atlanta scored 19 points off turnovers, outscoring Indiana by 12.

The Dream led the game with seven fast break points.

Atlanta opened the game shooting 68.8% percent from the field.

Coming off the bench, guard Aerial Powers tied center Cheyenne Parker Tyus' leading total of seven points scored in the first quarter.

Atlanta reached its largest lead of the game with 15 points, up 41-26 with 7:26 left to play in the second quarter.

Leading all scorers with 10 points, Gray shot 100% from the field in the first half.

Charles, Howard and Gray combined for 13 of the Dream's 19 points scored in the second quarter.

The Dream's bench kept Atlanta close, with forward Nia Coffey lifting the Dream out of a scoring drought with back-to-back 3-pointers.

Outside of Coffey, Charles and Parker-Tyus were close behind with four points each.

Head coach Tanisha Wright continued to lean into her bench rotation.

All the Dream's fourth quarter scoring came from its bench, this time headlined by Dangerfield and forward Laeticia Amihere who each recorded four points.

Fueled by Dangerfield, Amihere and forward Khadijiah Cave, the Dream fought back to bring the Fever's lead within three points.

Head coach Tanisha Wright on what she saw from the team tonight...

"I thought we did some really good things tonight. We were able to work on some things that we needed to work on as a team. But the opportunity to see our core group playing together, and getting some minutes together, especially in that first quarter, that quarter and a half, I thought it was really good for us."

Aerial Powers on her excitement for playing with this team...

"I'm just so thankful, you know? I mean, like, people, we go through ups and downs in this organization. It feels like home already. And then my teammates are just very welcoming and helping me just get back to who I feel like I am."

Cheyenne Parker-Tyus on playing alongside Tina Charles...

"We want to be one of the best duos in the league. So, our focus is just to continue to communicate with each other -- before the game, when we watch film, just breaking it down together."
