Tri-Cities Fever News Release
Fever Believers,
As you all know the state of Washington is seeing the worst fire season in history. Numerous relief efforts are ongoing throughout the state and national level, but even that is not enough. We have contacted agencies in the area of the Chelan and Okanogan Complex fires and have gotten this list of needed items from them. To help aid them in this ongoing effort;
We are partnering with Power 99.1 to FILL THE VAN FOR CHELAN
Next Wednesday 2nd and Thursday 3rd from a location in Kennewick (likely Target) from 12-6 pm we will have the Fever Team Van parked and ready to fill up to deliver to the people in need.
We will be offering a $5 off single game ticket coupon to anyone who donates an item as well as whatever Radio Tri-Cities has to hand out as a thank you.
Power 99.1 will be broadcasting from the event both days, and you will hear information about it on all Radio Tri-Cities Stations (Power 99.1, 94.9 The Wolf Country, The Eagle 106.5, and Classic Hits 95.7) The Fever will have staff and players available as well during those times.
If you can't donate during those days and times, we will also be accepting donations at our offices in the lower level of the Toyota Center M-F 9-5 until the 4th of September.

Currently requested items:
- Food that does not need to be cooked (such as peanut butter, jelly, fruit cups, canned ham, Spam, Vienna sausage, Jerky or pepperoni sticks, beanie weenies, sardines, tuna spreads, breakfast bars, etc.)
- Gatorade packet drink mixes
- Gum, Lifesavers
- Lip balm, Band-Aids, Visine, first aid ointment
- Ibuprofen/Tylenol
- Hand towelettes and baby wipes (no Huggies)
- Bandanas & hair ties
- New socks and underwear, all sizes
- Mag flashlights & batteries
- Wash cloths and towels
- Laundry soap (small packets)
- Ziploc bags - quart & gallon sizes
- Paper plates, cups, and plastic utensils
- Paper towels and toilet paper
- Dry food for cats & dogs
- Feminine hygiene items
- Gas cards, laundry money
- Cots, tents, sleeping bags
Items NOT needed:
- Water
- Diapers/Depends
- Perishable foods
- Clothing
- Household items
- Furniture
