Fighting Saints Release Preseason Schedule

DUBUQUE, IA- Puck drop at the Mystique Community Ice Center is just 57 days away. The Dubuque Fighting Saints announced their preseason schedule today, and the club will play seven games total leading up to the 2014-2015 regular season campaign, including a pair of home games at the Mystique Community Ice Center.

Dubuque will face off against a pair of Prairie Farms Cowbell Cup rivals in home exhibition action during the preseason. The Fighting Saints will host the Waterloo Black Hawks on Friday, September 5 at 7:35 p.m. The following Friday, September 12, Dubuque hosts its other Eastern Iowa rival, the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders, at 7:35 p.m.

Dubuque will also play road preseason games in Waterloo and Cedar Rapids. Dubuque visits the Black Hawks on Saturday, September 6 at 7:05 p.m. The Fighting Saints travel to take on the RoughRiders at the Cedar Rapids Ice Arena on Thursday, September 11 at 7:05 p.m.

Dubuque will participate in the USHL's Fall Classic East in Green Bay at the Resch Center. The annual event will showcase the USHL's Eastern Conference teams for a slate of games that exposes players to multiple NCAA and NHL scouts. The Fighting Saints will open the Fall Classic East on Monday, September 15 with a 4:00 p.m. contest versus the expansion Bloomington Thunder. The Fighting Saints wrap up Fall Classic East play on, Tuesday, September 16 at 1:00 p.m. against the Youngstown Phantoms.

Following the USHL Fall Classic East, the Fighting Saints will return to Green Bay on Saturday, September 20 for their preseason finale against the Green Bay Gamblers. Puck drop is slated for 7:05 p.m. from the Resch Center.

Dubuque opens the regular season on the road in Cedar Rapids on Saturday, September 27 at 7:05 p.m. The club's Opening Night in Dubuque is Saturday, October 4 versus the Omaha Lancers at 7:05 p.m.

The Fighting Saints 2014-2015 season is presented by American Trust. Full Season Ticket Packages are available for purchase and include tickets to all regular season home games at discounted rates, as well as extra perks, such as guaranteed seat location, meet the team events, and discounts on merchandise.
