
Fighters Claim Top Spot Followed by Storm in Coaches Poll Going into Week Six

The Indoor Football League presented its weekly Coaches Poll of the 2021 season ahead of week six. The panel is represented by the 12 head coaches of each team across the league.
The Frisco Fighters claim the top spot after defeating the Louisville Xtreme, 34-26, to improve to 2-0 on the season. The Sioux Falls Storm come in at second after taking down the Arizona Rattlers, 50-46, in the IFL Game of the Week, the Rattlers were ranked first in the Coaches Poll heading into the matchup.
The Duke City Gladiators jump from tenth to fourth place after topping the Iowa Barnstormers in overtime, 63-55, in their first game of the season.
Each coach submits a list ranking the teams with first-place votes earning one point, second place two points and so on to 12 points for 12th.
