
Fifth Third Bank Customer from Springboro to Throw Out First Pitch at Dragons 2004 Season Opener

DAYTON, OH --- Fifth Third Bank and the Dayton Dragons are announcing the winner of the Fifth Third Field Royalty for a Day promotion. Elaine Knock, of Springboro will throw out the first pitch at the Dragons Opening Day game on April 8, 2004.
"Fifth Third Field's Royalty for a Day promotion has proven to be yet another great opportunity for Fifth Third Bank and the Dayton Dragons to work together to bring excitement and fun to the Greater Miami Valley community," stated R. Daniel Sadlier, Fifth Third Bank president and CEO.

Throwing out the first pitch at a Dragons game at Fifth Third Field isn't something you get to do every day. As the winner of the Fifth Third Field Royalty for a Day promotion, Knock will not only throw out the first pitch on Opening Day, but she will also receive VIP treatment in a luxury suite at the game for her and 13 guests. They will each receive a Dayton Dragons merchandise prize pack and will be treated to complimentary food and beverages. Knock will also receive a personalized Dayton Dragons jersey and team jacket. After her first pitch, she will be interviewed during the Opening Day radio broadcast on ESPN Radio 1410 WING-AM.
Knock is the fifth Daytonian to have the honor of throwing out the first pitch for the Dayton Dragons home opener, courtesy of Fifth Third Bank. She joins Sarah Mathis of Clayton, 2002 winner Lynn Myers of Germantown, 2001 winner Matthew Whaley of Springfield, and the inaugural season winner, Harold Stringer of Fairborn.
The Dragons and Fifth Third Bank will hold a press conference on Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at 12 p.m. at the Fifth Third Bank branch in West Carrolton, located at 253 N. Springboro Pike.
