Sioux Falls Storm News Release

The Sioux Falls Storm of United Indoor Football (UIF) is pleased to announce the re-signing of defensive back Andre Fields. The former University of South Dakota athlete will return for the UIF Champions, Sioux Falls Storm, for his 4th season. Fields, 5'8, 185 lbs, was a 1st Team All - UIF Selection in 2005 as well as being named 1st Team All - NIFL in 2004. In 2005, Andre accounted for 73 total tackles, 3 Interceptions and led the Storm in pass break-ups with 19. Since 2003, Fields has started 51 straight games at defensive back for the Stom. That includes 44 regular season games and 7 playoff games.

"Andre has and will continue to be a main stay in our defensive backfield. He came away with only 3 interceptions last year, but that is very deceiving because rarely do they throw his way with him being are #1 lock down corner," says Head Coach, Kurtiss Riggs.
