
Fever To Hold Open Tryouts

Kennewick, WA - The Tri-Cities Fever Arena football team will host its first open try-outs in Las Vegas, NV on Sunday, December 13, 2009. The try-outs will be held at Ed Fountain Park, with on-site registrations beginning at 8 am and try-outs starting at 9:00 AM.
The Tri-Cities Fever, members of the Arena Football 1 League (AF1), have begun to reach out and contact football players from across the nation inviting them to try out for the upcoming season which is scheduled to begin in March, 2010. The open try-outs in Las Vegas are the first of a series of try-outs being held across the nation where players will have an opportunity to showcase their talents and skill-sets in front of the coaching staff of the Fever Football team.
"I am extremely optimistic about this coming season, for with a new league comes new opportunities," explained Pat O'Hara, Head coach of the Tri-Cities Fever. "Right now we are going on the road looking for players who want to be a part of this championship team we're currently building."
"Having been involved as both a player and a coach in the Arena Football League," said O'Hara, "I know the importance of getting on the road to look firsthand at the talent that's out there; I'm really looking forward to working with the guys who show up."

Registration from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM: (Quarterbacks, Wide Receivers, Defensive backs and Kickers)
Try-Outs begin at: 9:00 AM (Offensive/Defensive Line, Fullbacks and Line backers)

Must be at least 20 years old
