Indiana Fever News Release
INDIANAPOLIS - In order to accommodate programming conflicts on 1070 The Fan, radio broadcasts of Indiana Fever playoff games Saturday, and possibly Monday, have been moved to WIBC Radio, 93.1 FM.
Indiana was an 88-79 winner in Game 1 of its Eastern Conference Semifinals series last night on the road. When the Fever resumes its best-of-three series Saturday (7:00 p.m.) from Conseco Fieldhouse, WIBC 93.1 FM will carry the radio broadcast with Chris Denari and Debbie Antonelli calling the action. The same arrangements will take place if Game 3 is played on Monday (8:00 p.m.).
Advancing to the WNBA Playoffs for a fifth consecutive season while celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Indiana Fever hosts Game 2 of the Eastern Conference Semifinals on Sept. 19. Led by five time WNBA All-Star and two-time Olympic gold medalist Tamika Catchings, Olympic silver medalist Tully Bevilaqua, 2008 WNBA Most Improved Player Ebony Hoffman and two-time WNBA All-Stars Katie Douglas and Tammy Sutton-Brown, the Fever bids for its first appearance in the WNBA Finals. Playoff tickets are available at FeverBasketball.com, or by calling (800) 745-3000.
