Harrisburg Senators News Release
The Harrisburg Senators announced today that pitcher Anthony Ferrari has been sent to Montreal's triple-A team in Edmonton. Ferrari has been the Senators top performer out of the bullpen this season.
Ferrari had appeared in 14 games with the Senators and sports a 2-0 record and an impressive 0.56 ERA. In 16 innings, he allowed just 13 hits, 1 earned run, 6 walks and 9 strikeouts. He was also leading the team with five saves. Coming down from Edmonton will be righthander Ron Chiavacci. Ron appeared here in Harrisburg in 2001 and 2002. With the triple-A team this season, Chiavacci was 0-1 with an 11.85 ERA. He worked 13.2 innings, allowing 24 hits, 20 runs, 18 ER, 11 walks and 10 strikeouts.
