Dashers Harpoon Whalers in OT, 3-2

The Dashers and Whalers went to battle tonight again for the second time in as many nights. After a pretty eventless first period, the Dashers John Scully put us on the board with a hard wrist shot through the legs of Mike Brown. Breton Lindoff, the Dashers net minder came through big in the second period, making a cluster of saves on a Danbury power play.

The Danbury Whalers got hot midway through the third period, scoring two quick goals, both coming from Iyla Solarev. However, the Dashers found their spark off a Brian Soskin redirect goal late in the third that sent the game to overtime. In the overtime session, Justin Levac through a shot at the net that somehow A.J. Tesoriero redirected over the shoulder of Mike Brown and gave the Dashers the overtime win. Demonz Defeat Warriors 10-3

The Warriors fought hard tonight in a game that saw Dayton pull away and post a 10-3 victory. The game started quick for the Warriors, with the top line of Tatrn...Semenov..and Kozlowski combining for 3 goals in the first. Dayton was not able to solve the puzzle of coach Mooney's first line. They did answer each goal and closed out the first at 3-3. Dayton was surprised by the grit and drive the Warriors came out of the gate with, but when the 2nd period started..it was all Dayton. 7 unanswered goals followed with Hat tricks from Lester Brown and Roger Tagoona. Brown and Tagoona notched the top 2 stars of the game with Gary Kozlowski getting number 3, with a goal and 2 assists of his own.
