The team will be hosting a one-day event where players will be able to show their abilities to the FC Kansas City technical staff on Sunday, February 16, 2014 at the new home of the Blues, UMKC's Durwood Stadium.
The Open Tryouts will last from 8:00a.m. CT until 4:30p.m. CT. Players who are interested in participating must register through the FC Kansas City website at FCKansasCity.com/2014-Open-Tryouts. A $50 registration fee can be paid online until February 15th. Players registering onsite on February 16th will pay a $65 registration fee.
Last year's tryouts were very successful with players from all across the country trying out for a spot on the team. From that tryout, Natalie Norris, Vendula Strnadova, Missy Geha and Jaime French were all invited to train with the team. All four saw game action, with French eventually being added to the full NWSL roster.

FC Kansas City is a Women's Professional Soccer Team competing in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). The "Blues" Inaugural Season saw them set numerous NWSL records and sweep all six individual post-season awards.
