FC Gold Pride Releases Updated Schedule

July 15, 2010 - Women's Professional Soccer (WPS) - FC Gold Pride News Release


HAYWARD, CA (July 15, 2010)- FC Gold Pride of Women's Professional Soccer has released the kickoff times for the team's final two games of the regular season to be held on September 5 and 11 at Pioneer Stadium on the campus of California State University, East Bay.

The Sunday, Sept. 5 match against the Boston Breakers, previously TBD, is now scheduled for 6 PM. The Pride will play its final regular season game of 2010 on Saturday, Sept. 11 against the Philadelphia Independence. The Saturday night start time of the match has been moved up to a special early evening kickoff at 5:30 PM.

In addition to the new start times, the Pride has been selected to host the final nationally televised regular season WPS Game of The Week on Fox Soccer Channel on Sept. 11.

The Pride currently leads all of WPS with a 9-3-1 record, 7 points ahead of the second place Philadelphia Independence in the overall standings. The Bay Area team has 11 games remaining in its regular season schedule and will host five of those games at Pioneer Stadium including this Saturday's 7 pm PT matchup with the Independence.
