HAYWARD, CA (June 14, 2010)- Women's Professional Soccer announced 14 reserves on Monday for the 2010 WPS All-Star Game, which included FC Gold Pride rookie standout Kelley O'Hara.

"It is such an honor to be recognized with the top women's soccer players in the world," said O'Hara. "I'm thrilled to be able to go back to Georgia and see my family and friends and play in front of them again. It has been a while since I've been there so I can't wait."

The reserves were selected by the WPS Commissioner and two WPS All-Star Game Head Coaches, Albertin Montoya (FC Gold Pride) and Paul Riley (Philadelphia Independence), based on wide-ranging criteria including needs at various positions, 2010 performance, return from injury or inaction, and other individual accolades and attributes.

O'Hara has broken on to the WPS scene earning her way into the starting lineup in her first season as a professional. She has started and played the full 90 in seven games for the Pride this season. O'Hara has thrilled fans on the field with her exciting style of play. She scored her first professional goal on May 8 against the Chicago Red Stars and has assisted two goals 630 minutes.

The 2009 Co-Captain of the Stanford Cardinal is the reigning MAC Hermann trophy winner and PAC 10 Player of the Year and was the Pride's top selection (third overall) in the 2010 WPS Draft.

The Georgia (Fayetteville) native will head home to the southeast alongside her Pride teammates Shannon Boxx, Rachel Buehler, Marta and Christine Sinclair for the 2010 WPS All-Star Game presented by U.S. Coast Guard Reserve, which kicks off at 8pm on June 30 at KSU Soccer Stadium in Kennesaw, Georgia.
