
FC Edmonton Partners with City TV, TSN 1260 for 2016 NASL Season

EDMONTON, AB - FC Edmonton is excited to announce television and radio broadcast deals for the 2016 North American Soccer League (NASL) season. The Eddies will once again broadcast all home matches on City TV in Edmonton and will simulcast regular season matches on TSN 1260.
The first City TV broadcast will take place, Sunday, April 24 versus Canadian rival Ottawa Fury FC. For the sixth-straight-season, play-by-play announcer Gareth Hampshire will be joined in the City TV broadcast booth by colour commentator Steven Sandor. The pair have worked together during Eddies' broadcasts for each and every NASL season.
"We are pleased to work with these partners to expand our reach into the community so we can tell the story of the Eddies right across our region," FC Edmonton general manager Jay Ball remarked.
Additionally, FC Edmonton will simulcast NASL regular season matches on TSN 1260 throughout the entirety of 2016 NASL regular season. Fans will be able to tune in on the road or at home. TSN 1260 is available to listeners through AM 1260 or online at www.tsn.ca.
