FC Cincinnati News Release
CINCINNATI - FC Cincinnati is set to host their second home game of the season when the New England Revolution come into town on Saturday, May 29. Kickoff is set for 3 p.m. at TQL Stadium.
The Orange and Blue (1-3-1, 4 pts.) collected their first win of the season after defeating CF Montreal (2-3-2, 8 pts.), 2-1, at DRV PNK Stadium on May 22. FC Cincinnati mounted their first come-back win in MLS. Djordje Mihailovic gave Montreal the lead in the 56th minute when he tapped in a ball from Romell Quioto. Jürgen Locadia scored the equalizer for Cincinnati, redirecting a headed ball from Geoff Cameron. In the 86th minute, Gustavo Vallecilla headed in a freekick cross from Ronald Matarrita and secured Cincinnati's first win of the season.
New England Revolution (4-1-2, 14 pts.) secured all three points at home, defeating New York Red Bulls (2-4-0, 6 pts.), 3-1. Andrés Reyes gave the Red Bulls the lead in the 7th minute. Gustavo Bou equalized for New England in the 36th minute. Right before halftime, Tajon Buchanan gave the Revolution the lead. Adam Buksa extended New England's lead in the 82nd minute.
