
FC Cincinnati Sign Free Agent Goalkeeper Cody Cropper

CINCINNATI - FC Cincinnati have signed free agent goalkeeper Cody Cropper.
Cropper, 27, will occupy a domestic roster spot on FC Cincinnati's 2021 MLS roster.
The goalkeeper joins FC Cincinnati following five years in Major League Soccer including stints with the New England Revolution (2016-19) and Houston Dynamo FC (2020). Cropper has made 36 starts, including 10 shutout performances, in his MLS career.
The Maple Grove, Minn., native's professional career started in England when he signed with then newly promoted Premier League side Southampton FC in 2012. After featuring for Southampton's U21s for 30 matches from 2012-15, Cropper joined then English Championship side MK Dons, where he made nine appearances in his lone season with the club.
Cropper returned to the United States in 2016 when he signed for the New England Revolution. During the 2017 season, Cropper served as the primary starting goalkeeper for the Revs amassing 28 starts and recording eight shutouts performances.
