GREENVILLE, S.C., March 10 â The Fayetteville Patriots have added NBDL veteran Ernest Brown to the roster, according to an announcement by league director of basketball operations Chris Alpert and Patriots coach Jeff Capel. Brown takes the roster spot vacated when Britton Johnsen signed with the Orlando Magic earlier today.

The Indian Hills ('00) product averaged 25.1 minutes, 10.6 points and 5.6 rebounds in the regular season on his way to being named second team All-NBDL. In the post-season he averaged 32.7 minutes, 6.6 points and 3.6 rebounds.
Brown, who participated in vet camp this season with the San Antonio Spurs, is expected to join the Patriots on Thursday and will play in Friday's home game against Asheville. He will wear jersey #9.
