
Fayetteville Guard Team Members Serve Students

Fayetteville, NC --- Members of The Fayetteville Guard professional football served breakfast to more than 200 students at Gray's Creek Middle School Monday morning in honor of National Breakfast Week.
Team receiver Matt Cancellare and linebacker Kenneth Brown served brown bag breakfast of hashbrowns and sausage biscuits to the children in an effort to promote the benefits of eating a healthy breakfast.
"We're so happy to get out into the schools, and community," said Anjanette Weathers, Director of Community and Media Relations. "We're pleased to have any opportunity to give back to our community."
The Fayetteville Guard, of the National Indoor Football League, plays seven home games at the Crown Coliseum. The home opener is April 2 against the Odessa Rough necks, game time is 7:05 p.m., but come early for tailgating and family entertainment.
