
Fayetteville Guard Luanches Training Camp

Fayetteville, NC --- Approximately 40 men reported to Fayetteville Guard's training camp, which began with a two hour long orientation Sunday night. More than half, that reported, are from Fayetteville and surrounding areas. In addition, athletes traveled from Georgia, South Carolina, Virginia, Indiana and beyond to try and make their drams of playing professional football come true.
These young men hope to make roster that will launch The Fayetteville Guard into its inaugural season of the National Indoor Football League. Camp will run, in the evenings, at The Fayetteville Guard training camp facility off of Ramsey Street near Reid Ross High School. Training camps are open to the public. Through skill and agility drills the field of 40 will be reduced to 25, 21 of which will dress to play.
The Fayetteville guard will battle the Odessa Rough necks April 2 for the season home opener at the Crown Coliseum. The Guard will play seven home games all which will include, pre-game tailgating encompassing music, entertainment and family fun. There will be some nationally recognized names performing during half-time and local talent singing the national anthem. The combination of football and entertainment will be EXPLOSIVE!
