Fayetteville, NC: Crossover fans were in for two treats on Friday night. First they saw their home team take an early lead over the visiting Carolina Gladiators and never relinquish it. And, they saw the Crossover put up a league-record of 177 points in the process. Crossover points came from everywhere and everyone, including 46 points (also a league record) in the first quarter alone. The home team lead by 29 points at the half, setting up a second half full of acrobatic dunks and even faster-paced play. John Humphreys and Brandon Streeter each had 37 points for the Crossover. Charles Gamble led the Gladiators with 26 points. The Crossover next host the first-place Cary Invasion on Saturday, May 26th at the J.D. Fuller Center.
