Fayetteville Crossover News Release
The Fayetteville Crossover have announced their move the Tobacco Road Basketball League (TRBL). The Crossover will be a charter member of the TRBL, along with the Cary Invasion (Cary, NC) and the Wilmington Sea Dawgs (Wilmington, NC).
The Crossover competed last season in the Continental Basketball League (CBL) and plays its home games at the John D. Fuller Athletic Complex in Fayetteville, North Carolina.
The TRBL is a new independent basketball minor league with established and new teams operating throughout the Carolinas. The TRBL anticipates 5 to 10 teams playing during the league's inaugural season, including teams from Fayetteville, Cary, Wilmington, and the Charlotte area.
The TRBL will begin play in April 2012 as a point series and will compete with a larger network of independent minor league teams in a national championship tournament at the conclusion of the Spring season. Details regarding the national tournament and league associations will be announced in the coming weeks.
ScoreTrax.com will provide score broadcasting services for all TRBL games and technology services for all TRBL teams. League operations will be funded through existing sponsorships, and qualified member teams will be charged no league fees. For more information, please email info@trblproball.com.
