Fast-paced CFL action debuts on Altitude Sports & Entertainment

Denver, Colorado; New York, New York; Toronto, Canada - September 17, 2004 â Altitude Sports & Entertainment (Altitude), the Denver-based regional sports network serving the ten-state Rocky Mountain West region, has premiered the first of a series of Canadian Football League games for the 2004 season.
Altitude's decision to add fast-paced CFL Football is part of the network's strategy to offer viewers the very best in regional and national professional sports. Other professional sports carried by Altitude include the NHL Colorado Avalanche, the NBA Denver Nuggets, the MLS Colorado Rapids and the NLL Colorado Mammoth.
"We are pleased to be including Canadian football in our Friday night programming," said Shelly Harper, Altitude's Senior Vice President of Programming. "Many top college players from Altitude's telecast region are headliners in the CFL, and we know our subscribers will enjoy following their careers. These athletes are well recognized in their hometowns and college communities, and fans can now see them in action each week."
Altitude serves states in the Rocky Mountain West region of the U.S. including Colorado, Utah, Wyoming, Idaho, Montana, Kansas, Nebraska, western South Dakota, northern New Mexico and northwestern Nevada. The regional sports network is also carried on DISH Network Channel 410, providing national access to its programming.
The CFL has 33 players from the states within Altitude's broadcast footprint. They played at the region's top football colleges, including Brigham Young, Wyoming and the University of Utah. Altitude's coverage of CFL games was arranged by the New York-based Trajectory Sports & Media Group, which has the marketing responsibility for Canadian football coverage in the United States and internationally.
Other networks carrying CFL action through Trajectory Sports & Media Group agreements include America One Sports, Comcast/ Charter Sports Southeast, Cox Sports TV, Empire Sports Network (New York), Madison Square Garden Network, Fox Sports New York, Fox Sports Digital Nets, New England Sports Network, Fox Sports Middle East and the North American Sports Network in the United Kingdom.
