
Fans Have Opportunity to "Out-Drive" FM Jets

Fargo (ND) Golfing enthusiasts, along with hockey fans, in the Red River Valley will have an opportunity to test their golf ball driving abilities, with a chance to earn prizes. The Fargo-Moorhead Jets are hosting a special FREE event on Tuesday January 9th from 7pm-9pm at the Sports Bubble on 12th Ave. N in Fargo.
People will have the opportunity to see if they can hit a golf ball further than a FM Jets player on the Sports Bubble's Deadsolid Golf Simulator system. Prizes will be awarded to entrants who "out-drive" FM Jets' players as well as overall awards for the longest drives throughout the event. Prizes include autographed mini-sticks, tickets, gift certificates and much more.
There is no pre-registration, nor any cost, to enter into the competition. All ages and skill levels are welcome to compete, with the Sports Bubble providing clubs for those who don't bring any.
Players will also be available for autographs and photos throughout the evening. Some of the players scheduled to take part in the event include Chris Connolly, Jesse Echternach and Robert Carr.
The FM Jets Junior A Hockey Club is in its fourth season as members of the North American Hockey League. The NAHL is the nation's largest Junior A hockey league and is now in its 31st year of operation. For more information, visit fmjets.com or call (701) 235-2354.
