
Fans get chance to meet their local heroes at Heros once again

Four members of the Renegades squad will be on hand at the Local Heroes restaurant on Clyde Avenue to watch the football game on Monday, Oct. 17 on the establishment's big screens. They will meet and greet with supporters, sign autographs and enjoy meeting fans in an informal atmosphere. Prize giveaways, including contests to win free jerseys and tickets to upcoming Renegades games, will be part of the festivities.
Local Heroes has been a loyal Renegades partner since the franchise's inception in 2002. The âLocal Heroes Beaver Lodge' has become a staple at Ottawa football games, with its end zone presence.
The Renegades return to action on Friday, Oct. 21 when they visit the Hamilton Tiger-Cats. The Renegades return to action at home on Sat. Oct, 29 when they host the Montreal Alouettes at 3 p.m. Tickets to the Oct. 29 game are available either at the Renegades ticket office (1015 Bank Street), on the Internet (http://www.capitaltickets.ca), by phone (613.599.3267 or 877.788.3267), any Sports Experts location in the Ottawa and Gatineau regions as well as the Corel Centre Box Office in Kanata.
