
Famulare traded to Foreurs

BOUCHERVILLE, Wednesday, December 19, 2007 - A few teams made moves today as the Quebec Major Junior Hockey League trade period entered its third day.
The Foreurs acquired forward Derek Famulare (89-12-22) from the Saguenéens by sending defenseman Michaël Nolet (91-02-11) and a fifth round pick in 2008 (acquired from Chicoutimi via Victoriaville) to Val-d'Or.
Moreover, the St. John's Fog Devils joined the fray by sending defenseman William Beaudoin (90-12-11), a sixth round pick in 2008 and a first round pick in the 2008 European Draft to the Foreurs for winger Henrick Lavoie (88-01-14), a fourth round selection in 2008 (acquired from Rimouski) and a first round pick in the 2008 European Draft.
The trade period comes to a close on Tuesday, January 8, at noon.
