Kelowna, BC: The Kelowna Falcons were blasted by the Bellingham Bells on Tuesday night losing 9-0.

Adam Gunn the starter for the Bells was the story of the game. The right hander would retire the first 17 batters he faced, before Patrick Johnson broke up the perfect game in the bottom of the sixth. Gunn would finish with 10 strike outs over the course of seven innings for his second win of the summer.

Johnson recorded the only two hits the Falcons would get on Tuesday night. Only two other players would reach base; Jerry McClanahan on a walk and Jace Conrad reached on a fielder's choice.

The Bells would get on the board in the second inning after a solo homerun by Grant Fink. They would add single runs in the fifth and seventh innings, before exploding for six runs in the eighth inning.

Back to back two run doubles in the eighth and four hits in total would seal the game for the Bells, who record their 22nd win of the season.

Cale Coshow pitched good enough to win, throwing six innings, allowing three runs on five hits and striking out six. He falls to 2-3.

With the loss the Falcons fall back to 2.5 games behind the Bells for the second and final playoff spot in the East Division.

Game three between the Falcons (20-16) and Bells (22-13) is scheduled for Wednesday night at 6:35pm. All-Star and the league leader in wins, Brandon Marris will get the nod for the Falcons. Marris is 6-0 and is coming off a shutout win in Wenatchee which helped him become the WCL co-Player of the Week.
